Fresh run rainbow from the Tauranga Taupo river in New Zealand, 15 landed in three hours, fish all average 5 - 8lbs all landed on 6wt rod and floating line (recolored from hi vis to light brown), 2 rod lengths (for stretch) of 6lb maxima trace. Best I've used, tried fluro and tippets, maxima is my preference. Fishing stops at midnight here, otherwise I would've carried on all night. Only had two no action casts, all the rest were bites or fish landed. The fishing hasn't been like this for years. Back out there tomorrow, and the next day.... and the next...
