There was an Ocean Sun Fish spotted in the Barnegat inlet suning itself near the barnegat lighthouse. It was eastimated to be 500 pounds. I dont know if that is a normal size or not. I did see one up close out in the Atlantic Ocean years ago on a fishing trip. They are amazing to see up close.
