Its 26 member organisations are drawn from 22 States across the European continent, the FEAP represents: more than 2 million tons of produce, an ex-farm value of over € 8 billion and 100,000 direct jobs in coastal and rural areas. All members are active in fish farming and aware of the main issues concerning aquaculture and its development.

Linked to FEAP are European Aqauculture Technology and Innovation Platform (EATiP) which is an international non-profit association dedicated to developing, supporting and promoting technology and innovation in the European aquaculture sector. EATiP seeks to empower the mission of aquaculture growth through actively bringing the sector’s research and development priorities to the European agenda.
