The pristine Bushmans River proved to be a tough outing, the river was high but still relatively clear and quite chilly. The fishing was slow to start off with with one or two little browns coming out. It picked up after lunch and a few more were caught but nothing too big. These fish were only caught on nymphs and proved to be quite fussy. A size 14 Jig with a pink or orange hotspot was the go to fly. These wild brown trout are absolutely beautiful and are worth the hike and hard work catching them.
