When it comes to fish for table,then Tarawera lake in central north island is a place for trout fishing.The fish are fed on smelt and fresh water crayfish and the flesh is firm, orange color and full of omega3.The first fish is in lake Tarawera and i was filming and landing the fish and the second fish was landed in a small creek in Ferinaki forest national park.
