Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia and Montenegro are the only places where you can find this river ghost. It is most common in Slovenia these days. They have found the last 8 places on the planet with pure marble populations. They started a breeding program to bring more of these fish in the Slovenian rivers. I can tell you. I catch them frequently the last couple of years and in great sizes. excellent but very very challenging sportfish.
