On Father's Day June 19th, 2011 Erika Muller was video taped catching a 35 inch, approximately 21 pound Striper Bass in the Hudson River next to New York City. Erika's brother Roger helped her tag and return the large Striped Bass to the water unharmed. The girth of the fish was 11 inches, which is very wide for Stripers and hopefully it will lay plenty of Striped Bass eggs in the future. Erika and Roger are members of the Hudson River Fishing Association. Great job Erika!
