Following on from Paul's last tip, we thought we would see what else he can offer and find out what has lead him to his recent catches. We know from reports that he has been catching a lot of fish on the tip so we took him out for the day to find out more.
Paul says: I have had a great winter and early spring this year. Conditions meant a lot of my matches were dominated by tip fishing. Over the next few weeks I'm going to take you through a few things that will hopefully put a few more fish on the bank and keep that tip flying around.
The first thing I want to discuss with you is something I have caught an awful lot of fish on this winter, the pellet cone! This method is very simple but deadly effective, especially when things are a little tough and the fish are pressured. I was lucky enough to have a hand in the design of a brand new pellet cone tool that has been instrumental in my fishing this year. The new Garbolino Pellet Cone Press has revolutionised my fishing as it’s so easy to use.
