I like mine just skined and boned then diced and soaked in lemon juice for a bit with salt and pepper .. Primo ! if you want add a bit of coconut cream later on . But Leon i think you were saying these things get pretty big right?

Yeah Rob they can be in the upper teens this time of year no problem. I think Richard and I are from the same general area I think he would agree. I have caught them in the 17 pound range many times.

Rob I just checked on line and the N.J. state record Bluefish is 27 pounds. Caught in the early 90s. Over twenty is very unusual though.

Wow yer thats pretty good size we wouldnt get kahawai that big just about 5kg would be the biggest i think ive heard of around here mostly 3 kg , but our kingfish get that size easy in fact bigger 25kg plus hopefully will be posting pictures of them soon !
