I am finding that patience is not my best quality, not something that you want to admit as a fisherman. I am tryint to patiently wait for the fishing season to open where I live, and it will be soon. I have my poles ready, my tackle box is stocked, and my camera's are set. One of the things that I look forward to the most is finding out which lure will work this year. Two years ago it was a blue feather spinner with the spinner being gold. Last year they wouldn't touch it, but after some trial and error I found what they wanted, a gold with red spoon lure.
Having scouted the four spots (and looked for a few others) that I usually go to, I think that I am ready. But, as the saying goes. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work.
