Autumn Fishing In Thailand

Posted By Tim Norton     September 22, 2013

Body

Autumn is a great time to come and fish Thailand. Temperatures are becoming much more comfortable for the visiting angler, the rainy season is all but over and more importantly, the fish are still biting!

Arapaima
English angler, Pete Brailey with a nice Arapaima caught recently at IT Lake Monsters.

Pete enjoyed a very productive trip, with numerous Mekongs and Striped Catfish and a bonus Siamese Carp from Bungsamran, Redtail Catfish, Pacu, Alligator Gar and Arapaima from IT Lake Monsters and plenty of lure action at Boon Mar and Pilot 111 Lakes.

Although many see the summer months as the most productive for fishing, in truth, temperatures later in the year rarely fall low enough to significantly effect catch rates. Most of the well stocked fishing parks will continue to provide great sport throughout the winter months. Our team of experienced guides know what tactics to employ at this time of year to keep you catching fish.
So book that flight and come and have a go at Thailand's monster fish!
