On the Right is a Golden Palomino Trout, which is a rainbow trout with a genetic color mutation that has been bred... moreOn the Left is a Tiger Trout (a hybrid cross between a brook trout and a brown trout), they are stocked in small numbers around my state. On the Right is a Golden Palomino Trout, which is a rainbow trout with a genetic color mutation that has been bred for it's unique gold color. Catching a tiger is difficult but catching a golden is very rare. I caught them in the middle of the summer on public water, as well as some regular rainbow trout. I felt pretty blessed hooking these two rarities.
