I went on my annual trip to the River Severn (The UK's longest river), in search of Barbel & Chub. This peg was about 150yds from where I was staying. So I baited it up for two nights, hoping to clean upon the third day. When i arrived at the swim, at 04:30 in the morning, I found these little fellas all bunched up & comfortable. I didn't have the heart to disturb them, so had to fish on the next peg, and cast over to where I'd pre-baited. I did OK as it happens, catching sveral barbel & big chub.
