Quick intro, I live in Northwestern part of Ontario, Canada. I moved here from England 4 years ago, fed up of city living and was wowed by the place when i visited. We live by a lake and i fish almost every day. Species of fish here are predominantly Walleye, Musky, Pike, Lake Trout, Whitefish, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Perch with some stocked lakes holding speckled and rainbow trout. This part of Canada is a premier destination for sports anglers, in particular from our friends south of the border in the USA. I fish all year round which means 5 months of the year i'm drilling holes through the ice as it gets pretty friggin' chilly up here.

I'm in NW Ontario but of course support your efforts to contest this absurd nonsensical action. I am also a long time member of OFC forum and a newer Ontarioshorefishing .com , I,my sure if you have not already mentioned the struggle on thesevforums you would receive a huge response of support.

A whitefish soup/stew with a meditaranean flavour.
Whitefish are a large fish of the herring family. I only fish for them through the ice from January-march.
